TRUTH OR DARE

Privacy Policy for TRUTH OR DARE

Effective Date: June 24, 2025

Thank you for playing TRUTH OR DARE ("the App," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we, in partnership with our third-party service providers, collect, use, and disclose information about you when you use our mobile application. Your privacy is a top priority, and we are committed to protecting it through transparency and compliance with data protection laws.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

Information We Collect and Why

Our app is designed to be enjoyed without requiring you to share personal information like your name, email, or phone number. The data collected is technical and is used to run the app, provide our services, and build a better product.

This data is collected automatically by our trusted third-party partners and falls into the following categories:

a) Analytics Data (via Google Firebase Analytics)

To help us understand how players engage with our app, we use Firebase Analytics. This service allows us to analyze usage patterns, identify popular features, and make informed decisions to improve the game. This data is processed in a way that does not directly identify you.

  • What is collected: Session duration, in-app events (like button clicks or screen views), device type and OS version, coarse geolocation data (e.g., country and city), and a temporary user-pseudonymous identifier.
  • Why it's collected: To analyze app performance, user engagement, and feature popularity to build a better, more stable product.

b) Crash and Performance Data (via Google Firebase Crashlytics)

To maintain app stability, we use Firebase Crashlytics to identify, track, and resolve bugs and crashes.

  • What is collected: Crash traces (the state of the app right before a crash), device information relevant to the crash, and an installation UUID to track the number of users impacted by a crash. Specifically, we log non-fatal errors when an advertisement fails to load to monitor the health of our ad-serving system.
  • Why it's collected: To diagnose and fix bugs, crashes, and other performance issues, ensuring a smoother user experience.

c) Advertising Data (via Google AdMob)

To keep the App free to play, we display advertisements provided by Google AdMob and its advertising partners. To make these ads relevant and to operate the ad service, some data is collected.

  • What is collected: Your device's mobile advertising identifier (IDFA for iOS / GAID for Android), IP address, device information (e.g., language, OS version), and ad interaction data (e.g., ads you have been shown and if you interacted with them).
  • Why it's collected: To serve personalized or non-personalized ads, to limit the number of times you see the same ad (frequency capping), and to measure the performance of ad campaigns.

Third-Party Data Processors

We do not store your data on our own servers. All data collection and processing is handled by our third-party partner, Google. You can learn more about how Google handles data in its comprehensive privacy policy:

Your Data Protection Rights & Consent

We respect your privacy rights and have implemented tools to give you control over your data, in compliance with major data protection regulations.

Consent Management

When you first launch the App, you may be shown a consent form managed by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). This form allows you to provide or deny consent for the collection of data used for personalized advertising, particularly if you are in a region covered by GDPR or similar regulations.

For Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and Switzerland (under GDPR): You can manage your consent choices at any time through the "Privacy Settings" option within the App's settings menu.

For Users in Regulated US States (e.g., California under CCPA/CPRA): To exercise your right to opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information, you can use the "Privacy Settings" option within the App's settings menu.

Children's Privacy

This App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your relevant jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
